Sigh. It’s March and that means SXSW is going down in Austin. I couldn’t make it this year, but its always fun to read the reviews and see the pics…

It’s always cool how the town is transformed into a truly international destination for a few weeks:
If you want to get the flavor of SXSW music, take the Cap Metro, especially the #1. On my ride downtown, there were South-byers from Germany, England, and Australia. The #1 gets thicker with International riders at night. I really like hearing the cacophony of languages from all over the world on the bus.

Quote of the Day
Gore’s movie is similar to the new creationist museum that is due to open soon in Boone County. There’s some science there, but most of it is evangelizing. The difference is, I guess, that many elementary schools are showing this to kids and scaring them to death. And Gore gets Oscars and standing ovations by Hollywood. The Creationist Museum dude is a laughing stock.
